According to rumors he was once a zealous Templar of Sigmar, devoted to defeating the menace of Chaos. He read ancient manuscripts (the Celestine Book of Divination) written by the blind prophet Necrodomo the Insane, which contained blasphemies about the religion of Sigmar and the nature of Gods and Chaos. The prophecy is also thought to have described, in detail, how the warhammer world will end at the hands of the Chaos gods. Screaming in rage, Archaon called the gods liars and burnt down the temple. Adopting the name Archaon, he murdered his entire family so nothing of his former life would endure. Now, one of our very own Dark Sentinels steps forward to bravely interview the Dark Lord (while seriously clinching his ass cheeks through the entire interview)!
FallenCypher: Greetings and salutations, my name is FallenCypher and i’m here to to interview either heros or villains of the WarHammer world. Today I’ll be interviewing Archaon, Lord of the End Times.
::Archaon rides in the interviewing room on his deamonic steed::
FallenCypher: Greetings Archaon, I’m glad you could make it here.
Archaon: Greetings
FallenCypher: (shivers) Yes.. it’s truly an.. honor to have interview a… truly chaotic being such as yourself. (weak grin to Archaon)
Archaon: Yes yes now lets get this over with so I can plan another siege on the empire.
FallenCypher: Right, of course.
FallenCypher: Now you were a member The Temple of Sigmar?
Archaon: (glares at FallenCypher)….. Yes but I was a fool back then. Think I could stop chaos from from the prophecy that was outlined in the Celestine Book of Divination.
FallenCypher: Indeed and you burned down the temple where you worshiped and murdered your family.
Archaon: I murdered them in order to make sure no one in my former life would endure.
Archaon: Plus my wife was a bit of a nag to me.
FallenCypher: I wouldn’t have guessed. Anyways, after adopting the name “Archaon” you set out to the Northern Wastes and offered yourself to the Chaos Gods to, what was it again?
Archaon: To be used as a prime tool to bring a destructive end to order.
FallenCypher: What was their response to you after that.
Archaon: They told me to gather the six treasures of Chaos in order for me to prove myself if I was worthy enough to bring an end to order.
FallenCypher: Quick question, did Tzeentch tell you that or all four of of them did?
Archaon: All four.
FallenCypher: Ok, So then you set out to gather the six treasures of Chaos then.
Archaon: Yes. First I have received the Mark of the Chosen One at the Altar of Ultimate Darkness.
FallenCypher: If i be so bold as to ask if I may see this mark?
Archaon: (Archaon removes his helmet and shows the burned mark on his forehead)
FallenCypher: (nearly barf at the sight of both the mark and Archaon’s face)
Archaon: (place his helmet back on his head) Then I have found the Armour of Morkar after sailing the seas on a ship made of black metal.
FallenCypher: Could you tell us how you found the armor?
Archaon: I could but then your ears would explode from your head if I’ve told you.
Fallenypher: Well for my sake then please DON’T tell me how you find it so no one but you knew how you found it.
Archaon: After that I had to slay a powerful Chaos dragon named Flamefang in order to keep the Eye of Sheerian.
FallenCypher: You took only the Eye of Sheerian. Don’t dragons usually have like hordes of gold and jewels and stuff like that?
Archaon: Only obtaining the six treasures of Chaos was my primary goal not to gather other useless riches.
FallenCypher: Right right, I’m sorry for my little outburst. Anyways what was your next treasure?
Archaon: Next I had to travel all the way to the very Gates of Chaos to get my steed Dorghar.
FallenCypher: In the very realm of Chaos itself?
Archaon: Yes.
FallenCypher: I bet you have seen some pretty twisted things there.
Archaon: Yes and I had to steal my steed from a daemon-lord named Agrammon.
FallenCypher: Bet Agrammon is very unhappy that you stole one of its horses.
Archaon: Yes. With my steed in hand I continued my search I came across the Chimera Plateau where I found the sword, the Slayer of Kings.
FallenCypher: Now isn’t the sword possessed my the greater daemon U’zuhl who was bound by the second great champion of Chaos, Vangel?
Archaon: . . . How did you know that?
FallenCypher: A bit of digging, research, your sword screaming at me. Anyways how did you get the sword?
Archaon: I had to wrestle the sword out from the grip of a sleeping Dragon Ogre that was the size of a mountain.
FallenCypher: An impressive feat.
Archaon: Yes. Finally me and my warband, the Swords of Chaos, set off to find the last treasure of Chaos, The Crown of Domination. It has taken many year in order for my warband to find it’s location but we have found it.
FallenCypher: Where was it?
Archaon: It was in a shine located in the World’s Edge Mountains. Within the shrine I had to face challenges set by all four Chaos gods.
FallenCypher: I bet the Slaneesh challenges were a bit preverse
Archaon: You have no idea.
FallenCypher: Aside from that continue on with your story.
Archaon: As soon as I made it to the crown I had to fight and slay a Greater Daemon of Khorne.
FallenCypher: A Bloodthrister? Must have been a great challenge for you.
Archaon: I can still smell the sulfur it breathed out to this day. Still soon the Daemon Prince Be’Lakor came down and crowned me the Everchosen. From That point on I was known as the Lord of the End Times.
FallenCypher: Interesting. Now after you became the Lord of the End Times what were your plans after that?
Archaon: I planned a campaign against the Empire where I would lay siege to Middenheim itself, strom in the Temple of Ulric and corrupt the Eternal Flame with my own essence, extinguishing it and ushering in the End Times.
FallenCypher: Woah! What a grand and bold plan you have there. Now to lessen the time we could waste here talking about military strategies and the massive slaughterings your forces have caused. You sacked two Empire provinces and ravaged a third, and laid siege to Middenheim, right?
Archaon: Yes.
FallenCypher:Now before I get ahead of myself this campaign was called the Storm of Chaos?
Archaon: Yes.
FallenCypher: And you did have about five generals under your control, right?
Archaon: Yes.
FallenCypher: Now could you tell everyone what happened during the siege of Middenheim?
Archaon: I have underestimated the Empire stout defenses and have caused my horde to loss most of its strength which might have given the Empire time to prepare the defenses.
Archaon: The siege lasted a week and though my horde had some suscess they manage to ground my forces to the ground. I had relied on my army’s shear numbers to overcome my foes to reaching their destination to strike before they could receive reinforcements. My forces were depleted after a weeks of invasion in a foreign land. I curse those who could not get supplies where they should have been and I vowed to find those who dared desert me on my campaign.
FallenCypher: This must be hard for you to admit this.
Archaon: (glares)
FallenCypher: hehe…. Now you were attacked by not only the Empire but also the orcs and goblins under the banner of Grimgor Ironhide, and the Bretonnian Errsntry Army under commanded by King Louen while the Imperial armies of Karl Franz and Valten have yet to arrive.
Archaon: (grumbles) Yes.
FallenCypher: hehe…Is it cold in here or what?… Anyways what happened after the siege?
Archaon: I had to retreat to the town of Sokh to recover and attack the two opposing armies before they could unite and defeat me.
FallenCypher: Now thats an interesting idea. The orcs “uniting” with the Bretonnians.
Archaon: True but attacked from two sides did not seem like an option for me so i attacked the pious army first. Valten’s army caught by surprise manage to counter-attacked into the heart of my own army and into my personal retinue, the Swords of Chaos. Valten struck my force like a comet, felling them with the Hammer of Sigmar. Despite heavy casualties my forces caused, my forces were driven out of position. From out of no where Hellcannon shots fell from the sky raining death upon my men and also Valten’s own forces. Valten manage to escape the barrage unharmed though steed less now and his men continued to march on. Be’lakor made his apperance cutting off the Imperial forces from helping Valten.
FallenCypher: Didn’t Teclis, the High Elf mage, single-handedly defeat the entire daemonic army of Be’lakor?
Archaon: (glares and grumbles) Yes.
FallenCypher: I can easily see your very unhappy so I’ll let you continue with your story and shut up now.. hehe.
Archaon: Valten, from out of no where, struck at my steed, hurling me me to the ground. After Valten hurled a stray yet mighty blow I summoned the powers of my sword and overcame my pathetic adversary cleaving open his amour and sending him to his well deserved grave. Huss attacked caused me to lose my footing and sent me down to one knee. I quickly regained my footing and countered attacked that knocked out the whelp. Suddenly the greenskin forces slammed into my force. The orcs fought their way to dare challenge the Everchosen of Chaos. The stupid orc raised his huge ax and sheared the bottom of my shield and sent me sprawling backwards. I counterattacked but the huge orc parried the Slayer of Kings with the hilt of his ax, brought his huge boot and dashed my blade from my arm. The orc then smashed the side of his ax against my face held the blade of his ax near my throat, pull back and shouted in his brutish language “Grimgor izz da best!” I was force to retreat my ruined forces to the ruins of the Brass Keep.
FallenCypher: Wow. Who would have thought the orcs have defeated the Lord of the End Times?
Archaon: (glares)
FallenCypher: Well thank you for being here again.
Archaon: Before I leave I want you feel the pain i suffered during my campaign.
FallenCypher: Well ummm I really don’t thi-
Archaon: Think of this as payback for making me suffer by retelling my failure to you!
FallenCypher: Ummmmm……I think thats all the time I have to have this interview and (ducks under a mighty swing from Archaon) if I can manage AHHH! (dives out the way from another powerful swing) To survive this encounter I’ll try to interview a less threatening figure.
FallenCypher: Until time I’m FallenCypAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
